Origin Atlanta, a Wyndham Hotel

My family and I recently stayed here for a Clark Atlanta tour. This was a great location for that tour, it was not far at all. The hotel is located centrally for different parks and sites. We went down near the aquarium and it was maybe a 5 to 8 min drive. Clark is about the same distance. The hotel itself is new and nice. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Check in was easy. Parking is available across the street for 25 a night or 45 for valet. We parked across the street with no issues. The hotel is clean in the Common areas, hallways and elevators. The rooms were modernized and nice and clean. They are partially carpeted and hard floor which is a plus for me. I personally hate carpet in high traffic areas. The bed was nice and firm and very clean. The furniture in the room is firm and easy clean material with is a plus also. The bathroom was clean. The towels are very plush and very clean. The shower was nice. They have a Bluetooth for the mirror but I didnt use it. Our overall experience was very good. I hope these standards remain especially if my daughter decides on Clark. I would stay here again.

I will never stay anywhere else in Atlanta. From the moment I arrived, Tracy made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. The entire front desk team were incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed all week. A special thank you to Saron, Tulsi, Anjel, Taylor, and Brianna for all contributing to such a wonderful stay. Their kindness made all the difference.

Origin Atlanta truly redefines Southern hospitality. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like family, warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The Social Capitol restaurant was a highlight with amazing food especially the breakfast (get the pancakes), and the lobby’s late-night snacks and drinks were such a thoughtful touch. Dana, J, Tracy, Chef, and team were all a delight!! I truly mean this. My room was very clean, modern, and comfortable (Room 620 is a gem!), and even being downtown, I always felt safe and at ease. While the shower pressure could have been stronger, the rain-shower design still made for a relaxing experience and I highly recommend. This stay felt less like a hotel and more like home. If you’re visiting Atlanta or planning a staycation, Origin Atlanta is a must and I can't wait to come back again and again 10/10 experience.

The people are a reason to stay here! Everyone is so friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have what you need. Amazing service!! The hotel restaurant and bar is excellent, great food. Only reason for 4 stars is there weren’t closets or dressers and we like to “unpack” but if you don’t mind living out of your suitcase, you won’t mind! Walkable to Congress conference center which is why we were in town.

This new hotel boasts clean, modern, comfortable rooms. The Bluetooth bathroom mirror is a nice touch. The food at the restaurant is well priced, the portion size is great and tastes great. The staff is professional, responsive and friendly. Ralph, the technician was especially helpful during our visit. Update to add that Angel at the front desk was really pleasant, professional and accommodating. Andrew in the restaurant was very attentive and the service was top notch. My husband and I will definitely stay there the next time we are in Atlanta.

I had an awesome stay at the Origin hotel! I was looking all over to find a nice place to stay in Atlanta and through the reviews I realized this was a hidden gem given a bunch of reviews from when they weren't even open. I had a hiccup in my reservation and had to call the support desk and received such compassionate help and was able to resolve my issue with ease. I arrived early and the people at the front desk were absolutely amazing and held my bag while I wandered around town for a few hours before check-in. I also snacked on some of the food from the hotel restaurant while I waited and was met with a pleasant server and beautiful space. The room was just the right size and had luxurious window treatments, exposed brick, a comfortable bed and no annoying frill. The shower was a dream with a center-layed showerhead that was just the right pressure and heat. I didn't find the bluetooth speaker in the bathroom to be annoying, but, a lovely touch bringing music throughout the space. I loved that there were many options for charging my devices in the room as well. The walls were a little thin but for the most part all of my neighbors were very respectful and I had no issues with noise. I absolutely would stay here again. The only downside to this hotel is that if you're walking there isn't a lot to do during the day in the area. You're definitely safe walking distance from the Marta though and can take public transportation to a lot of places all around town.

I had a wonderful stay at Origin Atlanta. The rooms are spacious and the little details go a long way to make you feel welcome and appreciated. I loved the bath blankets! The bathroom was well stocked and had little luxuries to make your stay more comfortable. The room had blackout shades and a super comfy bed. The staff went out of their way to help and were very gracious. The service in the restaurant was a little slow but the staff were kind and the food was great. I’d stay again.

The hotel is awesome. Great looking public spaces and rooms. Love the brick walls and the modern design of the room. Bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is great including the water pressure. Cool vanity and towel rack. Staff is exceptionally friendly and efficient and insisted on moving me to another room when a hiccup occurred. Enjoyed my burger very much in the attached restaurant. The location is convenient to both the 5-Points and Garnett MARTA stations as I wanted to rely on public transportation. Just know the location, even though 2 blocks from the capitol, is up and coming. But there's a serious revitalization going on including roadways and buildings being fixed up and a lot of money being spent. Thus there isn’t a lot to choose from F&B wise close by right now but there is a new locally owned coffee shop to walk to 4 blocks away along with some other new dining choices on that block. And there is a long-time diner just next door for a good cheap breakfast or lunch. The neighborhood is fine and actually fun to walk around during the day to see the change. Not a place to walk around at night yet.
